A different take on meatballs. The flavors are different, the appearance familiar and a mixture that is flexible enough to be grilled, fried, skewered, roasted and even baked–take your pick.
Ingredients
1 cup grated onion
10 tbsp of breadcrumbs
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp paprika
2 tsp for minced garlic
1 lb ground turkey ( or chicken or lamb or a mixture of your choice)
2 tsp of chopped cilantro
2 large eggs
1 Tbsp olive oil
Methods.
Haha, this is as simple as it gets. Add everything but the meat and eggs into a food processor and pulse to combine. Fold in beaten eggs. Then mix in the meat, just enough to incorporate. Do not overmix.
Spray with cooking oil and bake in a 375F preheated oven for 20 min. Adjust cook time to the strength of your oven.
